Brackley Town Hall is re-opening after being closed for two years for an extensive restoration. Come inside and see the restoration for yourself. Have a nose inside the office, kitchens, attic and all the public areas for the first time since 2016!
No stone, floorboard, window, tile has been left untouched in our £3.2 million Heritage Lottery Funded restoration. Come and see the beautifully conserved flooring, stone work and wood paneling, learn about the conservation processes involved in restoring a Georgian & Victorian building to it’s former glory.
You will be able to see the archaeology found during the build and see pictures from the whole project, from the first day to the last day onsite.
There will be lots of people on hand to answer questions about the project, so come armed with queries!
Tour Guides will be on hand to guide you around the building, pointing out the new, old and discovered parts of the Town Hall.
There is a brand new exhibition about Brackley and the Town hall so make sure you come along to see it
There will be children’s activities available.
