Looking Back – Baa Baa Brackley

07/07/2017

Back in April was Baa Baa Brackley – our wool event.
Today somebody reminded me of the fantastic day so thought I would write about it again to remind us of what a great day we had!

There were local woolly crafters on stalls, as well as both Knit and Natter groups from Brackley and Towcester. Reds provided facepainting and Greatworth Hall came to talk about how our local wool is used. We also had four woolly visitors in the shape of local sheep with their lambs!

Over the day, stall holders, knit and natterers, volunteers and residents old and young added to our community art work celebrating wool in Brackley and it ended up looking fabulous! This will go back on display in the community room at the Old Fire Station once it has been stitched together.

Thank you to everyone who was involved in the day and everyone who visited!
