When the ground floor was being carefully dismantled, stripped and taken apart, our Archaeologists from IS Heritage were tasked with watching, measuring and analysing what was discovered, and lots was discovered!

From the 1883 flag stone floor to an 1830s policeman’s office to a coin from the 1600s… it is all documented in their report: brackleytownhall-compiled-archaeology-report

There is lots of information about the layers of history they found and a great analysis of all the animal bones that were found….take a look and let us know what you think!
